SMAANZ Conference 2024 - EOI
The SMAANZ Board is inviting Expressions of Interest from Australian and New Zealand universities to host the 2024 SMAANZ Conference in late November or early December. It is noted that the SMAANZ Conference is planned for Australian cities in 2022 (Melbourne) and 2023 (Canberra), hence interest is sought from New Zealand universities in particular.
Attached is a template Expression of Interest document and a template Memorandum of Understanding that outlines the details required for hosting the SMAANZ conference. The expressions of interest will be assessed by the SMAANZ Board on the following selection criteria:
- Experience in managing academic conferences
- Experience in managing academic paper collection, distribution and return for the reviewing process
- Track record of successful conferences
- Host University support
- Track record in obtaining sponsorship
- Range of services and ancillary events provided
Please submit all Expressions of Interest, regarding hosting the 2024 SMAANZ conference, to Richard Buning, SMAANZ Conference Liaison by Thursday, April 30th, 2022. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further information.
