Getting to Melbourne
Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is a major international airport hub and most airlines will have direct flights here. The Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is located 22kms from the city centre. There are multiple ways to get to the city from the airport, including SkyBus, taxi, Uber or hiring a car. From Melbourne city to the Hawthorn campus delegates can take public transport options such as train (approx. 15 minutes), tram (approx. 20 minutes), or take a taxi (approx. 8 minutes/$20).
Melbourne Accommodation
Melbourne has an extensive range of accommodation options available to delegates, many of which are within close proximity of the Swinburne University of Technology Hawthorn campus and are easily accessible by public transport. Please note: We encourage people to find hotels or accommodation (e.g. AirBnB) at their price point in the CBD or close to our Hawthorn campus. We have noted some "recommended hotels" below, however, we do not have a preferred or special rate accommodation provider.

We would estimate that most delegates would stay in the city centre and travel to campus for the conference days.
