SMAANZ Notice of Annual General Meeting 2024
The Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held during the 30th annual SMAANZ conference on Friday 6th December, 2024. The meeting will be conducted immediately following the awards session on day three of the conference program in Room D2.194, Geelong Waterfront Campus, Deakin University
In accordance with Clause 30 of the Constitution, the business of the meeting will be to:
- Confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 1st December, 2023;
- Receive the Committee of Management reports upon transactions for the year ended 30th September 2024;
- Elect the officers of the Association and the ordinary members of the Committee of Management;
- Transact any special business of which written notice is given to the Secretary in accordance with the Rules of the Association.
All items of General Business and nominations to the board shall be submitted in writing (including electronically) to the Secretary not less than twenty-one (21) days prior to the AGM (that is, no later than Friday 15th November, 2024). All such items shall then be circulated (including electronically) to the members not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the AGM (Friday 22nd November, 2024).
*Items for General Business and nominations to the board may be submitted by any current financial member. Financial Membership commences from 1 October each year and may be included with Conference Registration or paid separately.
