Sport Management Review Editor EOI (2023-25)

With the term of the current Sport Management Review (SMR) Editor coming to a close at the end of the 2022 year, SMAANZ is issuing a call for expressions of interest in the SMR Editor role for the period 2023-25.

The editor is responsible for leading the peer review and editing processes in line with the SMR Editorial Policy alongside our publisher Routledge (Taylor and Francis). The editor appointment would be for a three year term, commencing in December 2022 through to December 2025. The editor would receive an annual stipend.

The expression of interest period will run until Friday April 22, 2022. All EOIs can be sent to s.fairley1@uq.edu.au and should contain a statement that speaks to the candidate’s breadth of knowledge of topics and methods, editorial and reviewing experience, international network, and vision for advancing the journal.  The EOI should be no more than two pages in length.

EOIs will be reviewed by a panel comprising of the SMAANZ president, the current SMR editor and another senior member of the SMR Editorial Board. SMAANZ will look to finalise a decision and ratify the decision via the SMAANZ board in May 2022.
